Stewards: Mary and Ralph Matzinger
The Welcoming committee is focused on helping visitors and new members experience God’s love when they come to St. Andrew’s. We coordinate the ushers who greet everyone as they come through the doors. We also take care of coffee hour, a time of fellowship following the 10am Eucharist.
At least once a year we hold a newcomers’ dinner: a chance for new folks to meet the Vestry members and take a “nooks and crannies” tour of the church building.
Beyond these responsibilities, the Welcoming committee continually examines how best to welcome new people to our church family.
