Charter for Lifelong Christian Formation
From The Episcopal Church:
Christian formation is the lifelong process of growing in relationship with God, self, others and all creation. In this process, we are transformed into the people God wants us to be. The Episcopal Church has gracefully articulated how we answer God’s call in this Charter for Lifelong Christian Formation.

This naturally includes children’s ministries, Sunday schools, youth programs, campus ministries and a host of lifelong learning.
Christian Education for Our Youth
Future preacher.
Our Christian Education program is an essential component in our children’s Christian journey. Our mission is to bestow on our children:
- The value of Holy Scriptures
- The example of the teachings of Jesus
- The importance of the church community and the various experiences of the divine
- Our call to be loving servants of a loving God
We have three objectives for our program:
- Provide age-appropriate Christian education. We currently use the Lesson Plans That Work curriculum from the national Episcopal Church’s website.
- Create a greater bond for our children with the adult parishioners. Our Sunday School classes are lead by parents and non-parents alike, providing a means to bring differing generations together.
- Introduce the children to the Bible and to the Christian faith as practiced in the Episcopal Church.
