"I have sensed the many gifts
the people of St. Andrew's offer in Christ's service, and I am convinced you
have a very blessed future in continued service to our Lord," Fr. Pearson
commented as he began his ministry with us. |
Fr. Pearson joined the family of
St. Andrew's on September 20, 2007. He is our spiritual leader during
the transition from the retirement of Fr. Lynn McCallum and our next rector.
Fr. Pearson served three
parishes during his 31+ years of ministry, retiring at the end of 2004.
In Ohio, he was rector at Grace Church, Defiance, and St. Timothy's,
Perrysburg.
As well as being our
part-time interim rector, he is a student in the Doctor of Ministry program
at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry and part-time chaplain at Kingston
Care Center in Sylvania.
Fr. Pearson is married to
Judy, who recently retired from the American Red Cross. They have two
daughters who live in the Washington, D.C. area. |
