Your help is needed! Beginning Monday, July 18 and running every weekday evening through Friday, August 19, we will be helping Feed Lucas County Children.  We will meet at Highland Park (near South Avenue) in South Toledo.  Tables will be set up with food at 6:30PM, and for one hour from 7 to 8PM, any child under the age of 18 will be given a free, nutritious meal prepared in advance by Feed Lucas County Children.  We will feed between 75 and 100 kids every evening.  Team leaders from the St. Andrew’s Outreach Committee will be trained and let you know exactly what you need to do.  Please consider volunteering to help for one evening, one evening each week, or whatever your schedule permits.  A signup sheet is in the Narthex.  Contact any Outreach Committee Member with questions.

Welcome to the new website!  We hope that it will be a useful reference and news source for our parishioners, as well as a good advertisement for our parish.

The website right now is very much under construction, so please forgive us for the blank spaces which need content; we’re working hard to get the site to a basic level of usability.  If you have something you’d like to add or change, please email us at news@standrewsepiscopal.net or talk to any of the members of the Communications committee.

The Toledo Symphony Orchestra will be playing another neighborhood concert at St. Andrew’s next year. The Symphony has been scheduled to perform on the afternoon of Sunday, May 20th, 2012. St. Andrew’s has hosted these neighborhood concerts at least six times in the past – most recently for a Valentine’s day concert in 2010.

Ellen Critchley will chair the planning and preparation efforts for the show; please let her know if you would like to help.
